Founded in July 1, 2025, BuildHer Childcare Consultants was created from one belief — that women can build businesses, care for their families, and lead with purpose without having to choose one over the other.

We’re a community of dreamers and doers helping women turn their passion for children into licensed, thriving childcare businesses. Through our BuildHer Bootcamp, 1-on-1 consulting, and editable digital templates, we equip women with the clarity, confidence, and community they need to succeed.

Hi, I’m Shakirah Crews — the heart behind BuildHer Childcare Consultants.

I’m a wife, mother of five, licensed home childcare provider, and homeschooler who knows what it means to build from the ground up while keeping faith and family first.

After years of balancing motherhood, homeschooling, and business, I saw how many women were called to childcare but didn’t know where to begin. That’s why I created BuildHer Childcare Consultants — a faith-based company that equips women with the tools, guidance, and confidence to start licensed childcare homes with excellence.

My mission is simple: to help women build with purpose, lead with faith, and create lasting legacies — all while caring for the children and families in their community.
